Keeping Insulin Cool
With the heat of summer upon us, and with our outings and vacations being planned, it is time to look for new ways of keeping our insulin cool while participating in summer activities.
My family and I recently went to Disney World and I tried something new to hold the insulin. It is called a Frio wallet. It really did keep the insulin cool with out water dripping into my back pack all over everything else like ice tends to do, no matter how many zip lock bags you use. Some of the features of the product, as listed on their website, are as follows:

| June 2008 - Enjoying time with our children while they are home from school and gearing up for Friends for Life Conference in Orlando, Florida
June 15, 2008 - Father's Day. Tricia & Melissa will be celebrating the wonderful husbands that have helped make KPP possible.
June 16, 2008 - North Tampa Diabetes Support Group, Summer Pool Party! KPP is hosting this "splashtacular" event for our favorite diabetic families.
July 2008 - Independence Month. For the month of July, KPP will be donating 5% of every sale to JDRF to help find the cure that will give us Independence from injecting insulin.
July 23-25 - Friends for Life Conference, Orlando, Florida. KPP will be in the Expo Hall at the conference selling our products that will "Simplify Your Life". Look for us in Booth 526.

PRODUCT UPDATES |
I love it when a plan FINALLY comes together! We have just received verification that our women's bras are coming off the production line and will be shipped out the first week in June. As soon as they arrive, we will be packing and shipping out our backorders immediately. We may sound like a broken record, but we say it with all of our hearts, thank you to our customers for being so patient and loyal. We do everything we can to light a fire under our manufacturers. Sometimes the flames reach the roof, and other times we can only produce large quantities of smoke. Thanks for taking the ride with us.
With that said, our Toddler Tanks have created vast amounts of smoke. We have been working for a couple of months to get the samples resized and perfected. We expect to have the final samples approved and the production started by mid-June. If all goes smoothly, we should take delivery of the new, improved Toddler Tanks by the end of June. Everyone that has been sitting with a backorder on this product will receive a phone call prior to us shipping out anything just to verify your child's size since it has taken a millennium to get these done.
Over the summer we will be working with our manufacturers on some new product designs. We have been listening to our customers and believe our next couple of designs will be an excellent addition to our clothing line. Keep reading our eNews for more details.
