Melissa and I, along with our families, had the pleasure of attending the Friends for Life Conference last week. Children with Diabetes puts on the event every year in Orlando, Florida and it is truly worth your time.

There were many new products that debuted at the conference. My top pick for the best new product was the Cleo90 infusion set by Cozmore. My two girls have yet to do their own sites, even though they are 11 and 13. The Cleo is going to make that an issue of the past. The girls will easily be able to put their own sites on, even in hard to reach spots. You do not have to use the Cozmore pump to use the Cleo90 infusion set. It will work with most of the insulin pumps currently available.

August 2008 – This month is devoted to getting our own kids ready to go back to school. We also start planning our upcoming product releases for 2009. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to email us your ideas.

FINALLY! Our Toddler Tank customers have their products. We sincerely appreciate your patience with us as we worked to make them just right. For those of you that may not have had the faith, we have all of our Toddler Tank sizes in stock, 2T – 5T. We hope the extra sizes will prove to be useful to our toddler sized customers.

Some of our new product samples came back from our manufacturer. It will be more like early 2009 before we have a new product to add to our line of clothing. Honestly, we keep our manufacturing in the United States so that we can easily communicate our ideas, but sometimes we feel like we must be speaking Martian with the samples we get back. Maybe it’s not that bad, but seriously we have some ground to cover before we are on the same page with our concepts. Once we are though, we believe you will be thrilled with what we are bringing out next. Stay tuned.
